1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Kinderbud, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Kinderbud is a child development activity tracker that provides age-appropriate activity suggestions and milestone tracking for parents and guardians. The service may use AI to generate personalized content when you provide your own API key.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Household Sharing

You may invite other users to join your household. All household members share access to child profiles, activity history, and any API key stored for the household. You are responsible for invitations you create.

5. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of any content you create (custom guides, todos, notes).
  • You grant Kinderbud a limited license to store and display your content as part of the service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated guides and activity suggestions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, developmental, or professional advice.
  • Our default guides were created with AI assistance and reviewed by the Kinderbud team.
  • AI content is generated using your own API key and is billed directly by Anthropic to your account.
  • You should always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for concerns about your child's development.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kinderbud is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinderbud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Kinderbud is not a substitute for professional medical or developmental advice.

9. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
